We use the MyEBMS Scanner on a Scanner. Will there be support to set the focus to the product field and scan whenever the scan trigger (scan function) is pulled? Currently the user needs to manually set the focus to the product field then pull the trigger in order to look up an item.
There isn't a plan at this time.
Can you receive serialized items with the mobile app?
You can receive the items however they are not visible in MyEBMS. They will appear in EBMS where the serial numbers would need to be added.
Can you create new customers from MyDispatch?
To create a new customer within MyEBMS, you will select the customers module from the app menu on the left and create the customer there. This new customer can then be added to a task within MyDispatch.
Can you search by address when selecting a customer while creating a new task?
When creating a task within MyEBMS, you can search for a customer by their Name or Customer ID.
Can you block access to cost and pricing in MyInventory?
MyEBMS mirrors the security settings of EBMS.
What is involved in setting up MyEBMS?
You will need to: Download the app from the appropriate app store, ensure you have a relay within the advanced tab of server manager, give the user permissions within EBMS > worker file > app settings tab, and login.
Is there a more global view in MyDispatch? As in a week view or month view?
There is not currently a week or month view in MyDispatch. There has been conversation about a week view. If this would be valuable please provide feedback to your account manager or by reaching out to support.
Can MyInventory/My Dispatch be used remotely?
Yes, one of the primary value adds of MyEBMS apps is that they can be accessed anywhere you have internet access, provided that your server is connected to the internet and has a relay key installed.
For MyDispatch, you mentioned at this point there is only day view. My question is can you setup tasks ahead of time for an upcoming date, or do you have to setup the morning of?
Yes, you can setup tasks ahead of time. You will adjust the day using the day selection menu at the top. From there you can adjust or scroll left to right to identify when you would like to schedule a task.
