The EBMS Excel
add-in tool is a powerful way to access EBMS but often requires nested
functions. An error within this process because of various
errors can be difficult to identify. The Error
log is a powerful tool that can assist the user in identifying
wrong parameters, syntax errors, typos, and a host of other issues. The
error log will display technical errors that would normally appear as
an error message within EBMS as shown below:
The Errors pane will show on the right side of the Excel spreadsheet as shown above. Note that the errors identified by #VALUE has limited details but the error log displays more details.
NOTE: Close all applications and other Excel spreadsheets if the Errors pane does not show.
